CWP will be conducting geotechnical and intertidal site investigations in August. The primary purpose of the survey will be to facilitate the design progression of the project. The survey location will be within CWPs Foreshore Licence and will extend from the proposed landfall, (which is an intertidal area along the Poolbeg peninsula) to the proposed array. The survey will take place from 12th August 2026 to 5 September 2026, subject to weather and operational constraints.
The survey scope will involve the following:
- Cone Penetration Testing
Vibrocores
