Foreshore Licence Application Consultation for Site Investigations Opens July 15th
Codling wind park (CWP) has applied for a Foreshore Investigation Licence under the Foreshore Act 1933. The application was submitted to the Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government in Q2 2020 to secure rights to undertake site surveys and investigations required to support the consenting and design of the offshore wind farm project as well as its offshore grid cable routes.
In accordance with standard practice, newspaper notices will appear in the following national and local newspapers on Wednesday 15th July 2020 to advise the public about the consultation phase:-

Bray People
Wicklow People
The Application documentation is currently available on the Department’s website and the Consultation will commence Wednesday 15th July 2020 and close Saturday, 15th July.

Copies of the Application, and the relevant maps, plans, and drawings, are also available for inspection for 30 days (from 15th July to 15th August), free of charge, at the following Garda stations and public library:
